The ARTNet Coordinating and Data Management Center (CDMC) at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center coordinates activities across ARTNet and manage, integrate, and disseminate the data and resources generated. By leveraging cutting-edge, multidisciplinary approaches, the CDMC will support ARTNet in developing strategies that effectively address the challenges of acquired resistance to cancer therapies. The strategy focuses on fostering collaboration among ARTNet investigators, accelerating research by reducing barriers to analytical expertise, ensuring reproducibility of data through best practices, and enhancing resource sharing with the broader scientific community.
First, the CDMC provides a centralized administrative infrastructure to coordinate ARTNet activities, building upon the existing infrastructure that currently coordinates network studies under the NCI Cancer Moonshot initiatives. Second, it actively promotes ARTNet and engages in trans-consortium interactions, leveraging experience in Cross-Moonshot outreach and Bioconductor’s long-standing community engagement. Third, it provides multidisciplinary analytical expertise to support ARTNet collaborative research by leveraging five of Roswell Park CCSG’s shared resources: Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Informatics, Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics, and Data Bank and BioRepository. This support is offered to ARTNet investigators based on collaboration, transparency, and sharing. Fourth, the CDMC will develop improved data integration software and workflows to enhance ARTNet’s research capacity, drawing on a strong track record in developing NIH-supported Moonshot, Bioconductor, and AnVIL ecosystems.
The leadership of the ARTNet CDMC consists of Drs. Alan Hutson, David Goodrich, and Song Liu as co-PIs, and Dr. Tao Liu as a Co-I.
