The Administrative Core of the ARTNet Research Center will lead and support the center’s operations, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, compliance, and scientific evaluation. Dr. Jeffrey Tyner and Dr. Cristina Tognon, who have worked together for nearly a decade, co-lead the core, supported by Dr. Shannon McWeeney and Research and Finance Administrator Sarah Bowden.
The core's specific aims are:
1.
Administrative Management: Oversee the center's governance, scientific integration, and staffing.
2.
Synergistic Environment: Foster collaboration between projects and cores.
3.
Compliance and Evaluation: Ensure the center’s compliance and evaluate scientific progress.
4.
Data Dissemination: Facilitate the rapid sharing of data and resources.
To achieve these aims, the core will establish governance structures, plan strategic meetings, manage communication, oversee budgets, handle intellectual property issues, and support both internal and external collaborations.
